Everyone slept well and it wasn’t hot! Yay!

Church, orientation, beach, and devotions tonight!

It’s been a really long day…but we are here and ready to serve. This afternoon we toured the campus, had dinner and a brief discussion about our week. We have all showered in the awesome new bathrooms and showers. Temperature here today was 87 and we had a great breeze.

Back in the USA.  We have arrived in New York!!

Friday morning we spent our last hours with the school kids!  Lots of hugs goodbye!  And some tears!  Until next year……we love you!!

We went straight from school to a great afternoon at the beach!  Then dinner out!!

Devotions one last time and sharing about our week!

Thursday was another great day in the DR!

First thing this morning, a shipping container arrived at the school.  Some helped unload the truck.  Others organized, sorted and put away items.  The rest of our group worked in preschool again with the three year olds.  Today was our last day in Batay Lima for VBS.  Again, we had a good day and a hard time telling our friends goodbye!  Tonight we had devotions and a surprise bowl of ice cream!  Yay!

Tomorrow is a really busy day.  School in the morning.  Head to the beach at lunch time and a special dinner out!

Wednesday has been another HOT, great day!  Today at school everyone worked hard with the kids.  Our kids each had 2, 4 year old Dominican kids for 8 mins at 14 stations!!  It is a loud and very crazy preschool room!!  The kids all love it!!

VBS went well also.  Lots of nail polishing and baseball today!

Tonight, after devotions on the roof, the kids all circled up and played games!  So great!  Something they don’t do enough of at home!!

What a great day!!!  We worked hard again this morning at school and on the new apartment building.  They poured the cement in the septic tank today!  I HOT job!! 3 year old preschool today was very loud too! 😉

Monday we spent the morning in preschool and the afternoon in Bateye Lima.  Some of the guys worked on the apartment.

It was a great day!  We got to see and love on our kids!!  So amazing to watch our kids with the Dominican kids!
